The Singapore Art Week (@sgartweek ) Forum 2026 came to an electrifying close! ⚡️ Over a day of impactful dialogue, arts practitioners gathered to consider and navigate the ‘FORCE · FIELDS’ that shape our world. From the quiet rituals that ground us to the institutional pressures that move us, we asked: How do we build better systems? 🌏✨ Drawing from our speakers' experiences, the Forum sparked deep reflections on the search for authenticity in artistic practices and audience engagement with histories and cultures, and how we negotiate the spaces between them. We hope these insights will catalyse, inform and inspire the future of #OurSGArts. 🤝 Thank you to our incredible speakers for bringing the ‘FORCE · FIELDS’ theme to life. The #SAW2026 excitement continues! With programmes happening islandwide through 31 Jan, there’s so much more to discover. Tap the #linkinbio to plan your week. — The Singapore Art Week Forum 2026 is jointly organised by NAC, the National Gallery Singapore (@nationalgallerysingapore ) and the Singapore Art Museum (@singaporeartmuseum ) with support from the Singapore Tourism Board (@stb_sg ). #SGArtWeek #ArtTakesOver

We stepped into the making of Spang & Lei’s hybrid installation with Cultural Medallion recipient Han Sai Por for AfterForms – where the physical meets the virtual. From sculpting digital landscapes that wonders what happens after form dissolves to creating spaces for ecological grief, this isn’t your typical feel-good metaverse experience. But it’s meant to make you wonder about what you’d want life to look like 🤔 Experience it yourself at The Arts House and visit linkinbio for details on this unlikely collaboration 🔗 #ThingstodoSG #WeekendPlans #SGArtWeek #OurSGArts #CatchSG

You've seen them around your neighbourhood — in playgrounds, community centres, or sports hubs — but how about in the CBD? In "BYOR: Bring Your Own Racket", the humble, ubiquitous badminton net becomes a communal sculpture, creating moments of spontaneity, connection, and joy amid the city’s everyday rhythm.
