Thank you for showing up—for yourselves, for each other, for the circle.
There is something deeply powerful about choosing to arrive, just as you are, in a sacred space to honour the turning of the season and the changes moving through us all.
Strong, resilient community systems are not built overnight—they are nurtured through care, through presence, through the quiet commitment of showing up again and again. Today was a reflection of that. A reminder that consistency, even in its most imperfect form, is what weaves us together.
Let this be your invitation to keep showing up imperfectly. To lean into the discomfort instead of turning away. To move with love, even when it feels unfamiliar. To listen—deeply, honestly—to the voice within you that already knows the way.
I’ve come to trust that voice more and more. Working closely with both dogs and people has sharpened my awareness of energy, of intuition, of what feels aligned and what doesn’t. And so I am choosing, again and again, to move toward what feels good, what feels true, what honours the kind of world I want to live in.
Because we have to start acting as if radical transformation is not only possible—but already underway. 🌱🌀✨🌞
We might be a little late for #nationalcarrotcakeday (Feb 3), but here’s a quick bite of its history: Carrot cake’s exact birthplace is debated between England and Switzerland. In the Middle Ages, grated carrots were used in puddings as a natural sweetener when sugar was scarce. During WWII, Britain’s Ministry of Food even promoted carrot-based “Victory” cakes—with the help of its mascot, Dr. Carrot—to stretch rationed sugar. By the 1970s, carrot cake surged in the U.S. as a “natural,” health-leaning dessert. 🥕🍰
