The setup for the Alexi guitar exhibition was finally completed tonight, and it will officially open to the public tomorrow. This exhibition brings together most of the guitar collections of Alexi and the COB members. We spent a lot of money and effort to organize this exhibition, and of course, there is no profit involved since it is completely free—it’s simply to express our love and remembrance for Alexi. Many friends couldn’t make it to the event, so I filmed a video.

Today is my 39th birthday. Considering my physical condition and illness, being able to live one more year is already a miracle. But I‘m hoping for even more miracles to happen. So I have to buy myself an awesome birthday present, hahahaha!
Speaking of this guitar — this is the first guitar I ever saw when I went to ESP in Tokyo for the first time in my life. That was over ten years ago. Luckily, the owner of this guitar agreed to sell it, and I feel like I have to own it.
The luthier who made this guitar is Master 汤哲the most skilled craftsman at ESP. I heard he’s going to retire after he finishes the orders he‘s currently working on. Also, the Angel Series was discontinued a long time ago, making it impossible to get. So I feel very fortunate to be able to buy this guitar. I played it a bit yesterday — some of you might have seen it — and the tone is amazing too. Hahahaha, I love this guitar so much！

The first time I saw this guitar was in 2013, and I was immediately drawn to it. The day before yesterday, I came across the same guitar at ESP in Shibuya. To my surprise, it was actually for sale, so I didn’t hesitate to buy it. This might be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. What can I say? This is a work of art. ESP rarely offers custom hand-carved pieces like this anymore, and the craftsman who used to make them has since stopped. From now on, these will only become rarer.

Today is hide‘s memory day, finally I visited his grave. He was the reason I got into rock music and electric guitar.For me he is the greatest rock musician in 90s Asia—no one is great as him. His music and style is timeless.I was finally able to come to his grave today, and I was also very happy that his bodyguard gave me many of his picks. I also met @marco_jiang0502 a hide guitar collector from Taiwan.

In order to catch COB’s performance, the finish on this ESP mod guitars was done very hastily at the time, which resulted in an uneven surface. After returning to my country, I sanded and polished the finish to make it look smoother. At the same time, I applied a layer of clear coat over the @cobhc all members signature on the back to protect it permanently from wear and tear. Of course, @braindeadsamy ‘s signature is on the headstock.
Now this guitar is perfect and its FUCKIN KILLER！
