RIP @set.vault ♡ you may never experience this iconic floor again but tonight we’re bringing this same joy to London’s most exciting new dancefloor @houseofgaffe for our dearest @bluparti 💙🌀 the last time @sliver.ldn resident angels @melati.dj + @saroor.dj played b2b was truly an emotional one (iykyk) this time we’ll be bringing all the psy, all the swamp, all the vibes and less of the tears :p c u there, our dear slivers 💋

Memories of our final event at the much-adored, now legendary @set.vault . 3 parties planned, 2 parties thrown. 🥀 We’ve been so fortunate to work with such an iconic venue. It was an honour to host the last ever day party in the space. A huge shoutout to @maxquerade , @melati.dj , and the rest of the SET crew for their support in bringing this concept to life, and for @peiopinu and the @safeonlycic crew for taking care of our guests throughout the event. A big thanks to @2__boots , @mercorn._ , @wigsssss_ , and @wednesday_dj for taking our dancers on a journey over 14 hours following our resident @dj____av ’s opening. Lighting in collaboration with @refrakt.labs with @ryanash1812 at the helm. At 4pm, we unveiled the SET lobby with @yeokaa ’s Sleeping Girl in collaboration with @badartpresents . A 6-metre centrepiece resting peacefully amidst the ambient lounge’s mellow soundscapes, with a sonic curation by @o.rbyss accompanied by @ono.sendai.runner ’s audiovisual cyberforest. Three editions, three rituals, three special encounters with you our slivers ♡ As we gather our thoughts, words, tears we’d like to thank you to everyone who has given a part of themselves to SLIVER over the past 3 editions. From the team who care about it deeper than just a party, to our artists who have soundtracked each ritual, to you - our beautiful slivers - who have to come our space with a vibrant soul and open heart to create the undeniable cathartic energy of SLIVER 💞 This last one was a love letter to our beloved venue @set.vault - a space that has sparked inspiration in a lot of our community and has birthed a plethora of new events in its relatively short lifespan, with SLIVER as no exception. This venue showed this city another way to experience music, one that favours conversation and mindfulness just as equally as it does the dancefloor and though we may have departed with tears in our eyes and heaviness in our heart, we have each been left overflowing with love in our soul. Melati’s presence in our line up is at this point mandatory and for this special edition, she pairs up with our newest resident @saroor.dj for an extended journey of glistening psy sisterhood. For those who may be new to our community, Melati is aptly described as equal parts techno pixie to psytrance siren, spawned from her unapologetically deep, psychedelic and sensual sound that meanders the wider realms of techno and trance, weaved together in a style that favours mesmeric blends with technical precision. Tonight as she steps up to the @set.vault booth for one last time, we invite you to remember the love and care that has been poured into this place. Not only by the amazing team who built it, but more importantly by you, the community who has shaped it. This space is and always was for you. ੈ✩‧₊˚ RESIDENCY ANNOUNCEMENT | SAROOR ⍣ ೋ After a memerising performance at our last event, we’re insanely honoured to announce that everyone’s favourite psy angel Saroor joins the coven as our first new SLIVER resident ☆ To honour the occasion, we have invited her for a special extended b2b with SLIVER mama @melati.dj - a perfect match spawned from a blossoming friendship and deep respect for each others artistry. If you’ve had any sort of finger on the London pulse over the past year, you’d know that Saroor has been booked for almost every techno or trance event across the city and has rapidly grown a dedicated audience through her impressive selections and effervescent energy. We see a very bright future ahead for Saroor, so of course we had to snap her up before anyone else could! For those who are yet to be introduced, Saroor is a Sudanese-British DJ, revered for her exploration of the dark, percussive and groovy with a sound shaped on the other-worldly realms of techno and psytrance. Through an appreciation for complex rhythms and tonalities and a history of raves in the psytrance scene, her eclectic sonic vision has led her to notable performances at Unfold, Colour Factory, Corsica Studios and showcasing at key events such as SLIVER, Makaan, Riposte, PINHOLE, and Fragment. Two final film screenings ahead of our closing party tomorrow Friday 8 August, 6pm–6am. ‘A Drifting Up’ (2022) A short film by @jacobjlee1 Jacob Lee is an artist and director. His film ‘A Drifting Up’ was nominated for Best Short Film at the 2023 BAFTAs. His stop-motion animation ‘Lacrimae’ featured at Virgil Abloh’s memorial exhibition in Paris. ‘Trinity’ (2021) A short film by @patelhetain Working with dance, martial arts and sign language collaborators, and set to a specially composed score, ‘Trinity’ explores the British Indian experience and intergenerational conflict with a Hollywood sensibility. Hetain Patel is a London-based artist and filmmaker. His films and performances have been presented internationally at venues including Tate Modern, the Venice Biennale, and Times Square. His work spans film, performance and sculpture, often exploring identity through choreography, text and popular culture. Alongside @jenkinvanzyl ’s Surrender (2023), the films will play on loop from 18:15, with the second loop starting at 19:37. Tickets available via RA. *ੈ✩‧₊˚ SLIVER | Sybil | 09.08 ⍣ ೋ From being on our radar through her impressive collection of podcasts, to finally hearing her play an outstanding set for Unfold’s 100th edition, Sybil’s addition to our line up was one that didn’t need debating. After experiencing her vivid storytelling first hand, a masterclass in delivering exciting voyages through the imagination, it only felt right to offer our audience the pleasure of an extended set for Sybil’s SLIVER debut! At the core of Sybil’s mystical selections is an emotional depth, textural clarity and a sense of space. A prescient musical intuition enables her to shift energies on the dancefloor in a multitude of directions. Equally adept at playing propulsive deep techno as she is at exploring hazy breaks, sumptuous downtempo, soaring trance, expansive drone, and even full-throttle drum and bass, Sybil’s sets often criss-cross through genres guiding dancers on journeys which are emotive, thrilling and ultimately revitalising. From DJing across revered events and venues on the global stage to numerous mixes on prevalent platforms and labels, Sybil’s sound spans from energetic dance floor exhilaration to subtle shifts of disparate BPMs, stitching together music from a broad palette of textures to create memorable journeys which are both rewarding and entrancing. Her exploration of psychedelia breaks all boundaries, explored even deeper within her own much-loved ambient, drone and experimental mix series, Deep Mind Music, which she has run since 2017. Closing things out at our SET Woolwich send-off this Friday, we’ve got the incredible @maxquerade , a key force behind the @set.vault ’s sound, feel, and rhythm these past few years. 08.08.25 // 05.00-06:00 A producer, DJ and co-founder of @_interlock_ with @alltrades_uk , Max’s sets draw deep from the bass continuum; technical and free, distorted and grounded.
