The jigsaw is now complete; at this Sunday’s UNFOLD we will reveal the result.
Over the past four weeks our entire team have been working day & night to completely re-invent the way our dance floors are experienced.
A revitalised Main Room is now matched by an entirely new Steam Room; upgraded and re-designed… the ‘cheeky little sibling’ has all grown up.
UNFOLD returns this Sunday at 14:00.
Dress to sweat.
The music may have paused, but we did not.
Almost four weeks of grinding away into the late hours, recharging & replenishing every cog in our many wheels, all under the watchful eye of our feline family.
Now it’s almost time to re-open our doors and begin showing you what we’ve been working on…

There was a murder in the quaint village of Amberley this past weekend, and I, Detective Curlylocks Holmes, was urgently summoned to investigate! 👀
When I arrived to the murder scene two hours outside London, I was greeted by 10 suspects (two who were conveniently in the hot tub when this photo was being taken).

I'm completely overwhelmed by the love and support I received on Sunday, thank you so much to those that made it down early to catch my set. Warming up for what turned out to be a pretty iconic Unfold along side such a talented selection, to then be able to channel that adrenaline and put it into lighting up the main room for the rest of the night was special.

This month we've got some straight heat from Grooveon friends and family, as @whyordep joins our alumni @ryanash1812 for a powerful two hours of raw and unwavering techno. 💪
Ordep is Pedro Leitão Gomez's main project. Centered around raw and stripped-back Techno, his sound pays tribute to the golden era from the 90s and 00s.
His radio repertoire includes a two year residency on Vandelay Radio as well as guest appearances on Bloop, Aaja and Seoul Community radio. He treats a radio show likea a playground for confronting Techno with influences from other somewhat unrelated genres, mirroring the cultural diversity of London.
These values also guide the Polyritmica co-founder's studio output, featuring on a compilation by Swiss label Introspective Records and on its co-founder GFX's debut album on a collaborative effort. With a further EP in collaboration with Vindya and the debut release on his label - //futureproof - in their final stages of completion, we can expect more music in the very near future.
Residing in London, and an integral part of the Fold team, Ryan dedicates his time to a passion project that see's him work along side and rub shoulders with incredible talent and forward thinking artists and producers. Whilst putting time and effort into his roles at the East London venue he has been quietly working away on his own creative output.
Ryan's enthusiasm for driving drum patterns and hypnotic rhythms shines through in this mix, combining intensity and punchiness with developing textures and contagious grooves.

So this year is flying by already, been head down in work and nearly left it too late to shout about this one! Some will have seen, as it's been doing the rounds on socials for a while, but I'm playing E1 for the first time this Friday.

And rounding off our stellar lineup is @fold.ldn 's very own Ryan Ashworth.
15 years of experience in the music industry has brought Ryan to where he is today.
In that time, he has worked in almost every position accessible to him, learning from every perspective to build his own, and it is this that Ryan now channels into his own curation behind the decks. An original member of the FOLD team from its very beginning back in 2019, his in-depth knowledge of the music industry has helped the East London venue along the path on which it now travels.
After several years biding his time, learning his trade from his peers, Ryan has gradually begun to emerge over the past year and has stepped up to the decks himself. Initially playing to his closest circle, a circle which has grown quickly as he found himself more opportunities to bring his sound to new audiences and, this year, he made his club debut opening the 50th edition of UNFOLD.
Ryan’s multitude of musical influences from across the genre spectrum only seems natural for someone with such a vast array of experiences and it is this that allows Ryan to create a truly unique sonic experience for the dancefloor.
Bit late to the party with this..... Only now coming back down to earth after such an unforgettably chaotic Easter weekend.
Before anything I want to say how blessed I feel to work in a team with such a strong sense of camaraderie. From the mutual respect, the support and encouragement, the collaborative learning and growth to the shared feelings of accomplishment and gratification in what we achieve.
Don't get me wrong, its not always smooth sailing, we are only human, but what a small dedicated team manage to pull off is mind-blowing, and the 50th Edition of Unfold really embodies all of the above.
In the years I have spent driven by a passion for music, I could only have aspired to open proceedings, or operate lighting for an event as prestigious as this, one that is so central to and celebrated by our community, and so close to my heart, it was an honour!
