We’re excited to reveal the full concept behind OPEN//FORM.
Built as a curated techno and audio-visual platform, OPEN//FORM explores the intersection of sound, image, and contemporary art through an immersive two-room environment at Onyx.
The Atrium will function as the main dancefloor, centred around long-form hypnotic techno with performances from
@reeko_mentaldisorder @svreca and
@livid0 Real-time visual systems designed by
@ono.sendai.runner will transform the space through custom-built immersive projections and generative imagery.
The Antechamber, curated by
@metamorphika.studio , is dedicated to installation work and spatial design. Featured works include Perilous Pirouette by Kieron Coffey (
@luuzr_ ), contributions from
@xxeniablackk and a photographic exhibition by Romanian artist
@mihai_barabancea whose work explores post-truth imagery and distorted social realities.
The room will also host a presentation of
@phreakissue — a print publication celebrating underground fashion, music, and art from across the globe.
