Kyoto in the morning feels like a secret the city keeps just for you. We began near The Celestine Kyoto Gion, where the streets were still and quiet, stopping at % Arabica for a “Kyoto Latte” to warm our hands as we wandered through the crisp autumn air. By the time we reached Kiyomizu-dera, the sun was rising, bathing the hills in a soft, golden light. While we have visited during the spring months, it was our first time experiencing Japan in the fall — a season so impossibly vivid that it felt like stepping into a 35mm frame of Velvia. What began as a last-minute trip, with doubts about timing, turned into a discovery of unexpected beauty. Japan holds a singular place in our hearts, offering an unmatched sense of peace and serenity that continuously calls us back.
Last Friday, I ventured up to the @sarahflint_nyc #Georgetown Pop-Up for a fun holiday soirée. With a camera in tow, I stepped foot into the most loveliest of spaces and connected with local content creators who are ambassadors to the brand. @xosarahflint has managed to build a truly beautiful community of style-loving humans from various walks of life. Not to mention that her company genuinely values artisan craftsmanship, comfort, and environmental sustainability — things that stand out in the world of style and personally mean so much to me throughout my everyday.
