Several times throughout the week, I walk my North Long Beach neighborhood, and almost every time I see illegal dumping. When I see it, I make sure it gets cleaned within 24 hours because showing up for our community matters.
But cleanup alone is not enough. Volunteerism should support city services, not replace them. We need real prevention, consistent enforcement, and accountability. Residents should also know they can schedule several free bulky item pickups from the City throughout the year.
North Long Beach deserves better, and I am committed to implementing real solutions.

When I tell people Iām from Long Beach, I say it with pride.

What a Motherās Day gift (video) from my kids. ā¤ļø
Our house was always filled with good food, good music, and lots of laughter. It was always important to me that I was their friend first and we had so much fun!!
Now my babies are grown, building lives and homes of their own, and while I deeply miss the days when we were all under one roof, this video reminded me that the love I poured into them, the lessons I taught, and the example I tried to set stayed with them. #WorthIt
As parents we always question if we did all we could do. So, I canāt even put into words what it feels like to know those memories, values, and moments still live inside of them. š
To my babies, this was really the best gift EVER! ā„ļøš
