Long Beach residents are paying more… and getting less.
Our city spends significantly more per mile on infrastructure than many neighboring cities, yet our streets, sidewalks, and basic maintenance continue to fall behind. Residents deserve to know where the money is going and why the results don’t match the cost.
This isn’t about politics. It’s about accountability.
We need leadership that asks hard questions, demands transparency, and treats taxpayer dollars with the same level of responsibility families are forced to use every day.
As someone who has managed complex projects, budgets, and negotiations in the real world, I know how important oversight, efficiency, and follow-through are. We cannot keep asking residents to pay more while accepting less in return.
Long Beach deserves better results, not just bigger budgets.
