My new film « The Loop » is now available on @nowness . We made this film with @nicolas_huchard by locking ourselves together in a room, starting from a single, simple question as the basis for reflection : « How are you ? » A polite phrase, a reflex whose weight we often forget, and the doors it can quietly open. We ask the question without knowing whether we are ready to hear the answer, or what it might reveal. And yet, we keep asking. We wanted the body to become the echo of every possible answer, a language reaching toward sensations and truths. To echo this endless loop, I had the pleasure of shaping the film’s sound with @maxcoopermax ’s Repetition : its evolving, looping texture reflects a question that keeps returning.
