La Semaine du Son.Oor 2027 will take place from 25 January until 31 January in Brussels, and from 1 to 7 February 2027 in Flandres and in Wallonia.
To enrich its program, we’d love to receive your work-in-progress or (graduation) projects!
Are you working on a sound project that you’d like to present to a wider audience, outside the school walls? Would you like to try out a new collaboration, or present a new work at a special venue? Or exchange ideas with a new audience about the creative process? Would you like to share your experience during a workshop or masterclass?

Auditieve democratie in actie met 📣 Exterioor! Tijdens @semaineduson.oor , de Week van het Geluid in Brussel, doken we samen in de soundtrack van onze leefomgeving.
Dagelijks worden we omringd door geluiden die we niet zelf hebben gekozen: 🚓 verkeer, bouwwerven, sirenes …
Maar wat als jij mee kon bepalen hoe een plein klinkt? Met De Zwerm, het draagbare speakersysteem van aifoon, creëerden deelnemers hun eigen compositie 🎵 voor een plein.

👂 🔉 De opname die je hoort werd gemaakt naar aanleiding van de 4de aflevering van onze podcast ‘Luisterrijk’. We plaatsen samen met podcastgast Nina Vanhaeren een speaker op de Vrijdagsmarkt in Gent. 💬 Ze vertelt waarom ze het geluid van een terrasje toevoegt aan dat plein en wat het voor haar betekent.

Nu vrijdag 6 februari om 19.30u kan je bij Kunsthal Mechelen Umwelt meemaken — een intrigerende live performance van Maryia Kamarova & Daniel Dariel.
In Umwelt vloeien digitale en analoge werelden samen. Objecten, codes en signalen resoneren en vormen één gedeeld klanklandschap.
In de namiddag geeft Maryia Kamarova een creatieve workshop om samen je eigen gemotoriseerde geluidsobject te bouwen. De plaatsen zijn beperkt, je kan je wel nog opgeven op de wachtlijst.

This friday, the 6th of February follow along Umwelt, a performance by Maryia Kamarova and Daniel Dariel at 19h30. In Umwelt, the digital and analogue worlds merge together. Objects, codes and signals resonate to form one shared art landscape.
During the afternoon, Kamarova will also give a creative workshop in which she aides you to create your own motorised sound object. Places were limited, but you can still subscribe to the waiting list.
This event was organized in collaboration with Grambacht and La Semaine Du Sonoor.
