After last week’s roadblock with London’s Zar, we’re back with a familiar face - though he’s not originally from round here. Hospital Records’ @winslowxyz grew up in St. Louis, Missouri, carrying the flag for the US drum & bass family before relocating to Glasgow last year. A producer, DJ, multi-instrumentalist, composer, music teacher and tea enthusiast, he’s built a reputation for meticulous production, forward-thinking melodies and a rhythmic identity all his own. With releases on Spearhead, Soulvent, Goldfat, Pilot and Hospital, Winslow’s tunes have been championed by the likes of Mitekiss, High Contrast, London Elektricity, Nu:Tone, Workforce, Mr Porter - and our own upcoming September guest, @degsmusic . First drawn into drum & bass via video game soundtracks and early experiments in production, he’s since explored the genre’s full spectrum, from liquid rollers to sharper, tech-flecked cuts - always with that deep melodic touch. His Bongo debut last year was a proper highlight, so we can't wait to have him back later tonight @sneakypetesclub

Back from a wee hiatus and kicking off our summer run somewhere small, sweaty and criminally loud. We’re back at @sneakypetesclub  tonight with a reshuffled lineup that might be stronger than our original plan. Our Jazz & Bass party has been postponed (Get well soon Alex!), so instead we’ve roped in a few heavyweights and heads we rate: @cobenmusic  gets things warmed up for his Liquicity appearance and a stack of releases coming later this year. Liquid tendencies, UKG tints, silky progressions expect it rough but smooth around the edges! 🔥 @jolenelive comes fresh off that closing set at our sold-out Bongo finale in May, rolls through with the same precision and control that made her one to watch that night. ⚡ @s0lecta (Subcity Radio) makes the trip east after a standout b2b at Kelburn with Corran under the Baile crew. Badman DJ, real selector energy. Think UKG into grime into breaks with no seams showing. @selectaslippa , now basically part of the furniture, brings the heat early doors.
