Back in the fall of last year, Zak and I were approached by @_theoklahoman @janaebwilliams to get coffee and learn about the possible news of this feature! To say that we are grateful to be amongst this group of restaurants is an understatement- we are beyond appreciative and so lucky to do what we love, everyday. We hope this list brings its readers a perspective that is past the surface of restaurants and inserts a connection to the people and communities that make them come alive and represent the love and humaness in them. We want to dedicate this special mention to our team, family and peers. For they work their little tails off and support our journey through life in restaurants. Whoa, WHOA, WHOA! We are featured in the August/September issue of @gardenandgun Magazine! LANDLOCKED & LOADED is out of the bag! Back in March of this year, we had the great fortune of meeting with @johntedge @wrightthompsonbooks , while they and their crew moved and ate their way through our state while filming the new season of @truesouthtv They ate at our restaurant, saw some things, felt some ways and had the opportunity to share some time chatting with chef @zlw7 It is a JOY to be featured on the magazine, out in stands now! Tremendous thanks to Maggie, @saraforrest @christiankozowyk for the opportunity to work together and the beautiful shots of the restaurant. Shout out to @maderokc @cafekacao & @powerhouseokc also mentioned in this article 🫶 John T. Edge falls for sooner seafood @sedaliasokc

We have said it many times as a suggestion, a push to try new things on the menu, we will say it again…Come for the Oysters & Seafood but stay for the Chicken 🤠That ain’t no push folks, that’s a decisive jump. This particular set embodies the character of earthly spices with a Za’atar seasoning, stewed & tender chickpeas, a healthy heaping of bright green zhoug, spicy, mysterious and lovely 😮‍💨 Anyways, you should try the chicken @sedaliasokc

Hello Dear ones! Exciting News for Memorial Day Weekend: We are so incredibly thrilled to welcome chefs Garett Lewis and Erik Fabrizious of Old Dog Thai, for an unforgettable evening of flavors, friends, wine & some serious fun cooking up Thai-ish recipes to brighten up Memorial Day! (Monday 5/25, 4pm-8pm). Rain or shine. For this occasion; we will be serving a menu that is designed to be shared “family-style”. A few snacks, a couple of center-piece dishes, that aim to highlight the rich and varied cuisine of the beautiful and vibrant city of Bangkok. Monkfish at Sedalia’s: Marinated in Turmeric & Onions, grilled to a juicy & buttery bite. served with a zesty heaping of grilled Chards & Capers, it’s a real treat, folks! Waving hello to our New Menu series “Mediterranean Breeze” @sedaliasokc - for the next weeks ahead, we will be indulging in a variety of bites that have a strong emphasis on ingredients and cooking preparations that tell us tales of sea breeze, volcanic soil, sunshine & companionship. We are still spring-adjacent! So expect tender greenery to accompany most of this menu & save room for dessert. Forecast looks mighty good for the weekend, tons to celebrate ahead, patio is open and ready @sedaliasokc

We are BACK and we're back with a purpose! I'm hosting a benefit pop up in honor of AAPI month and we're donating 100% of our noodle bowl proceeds to @stopaapihate because we believe in their mission, justice and equality for all immigrants. We'll have 3 different Vietnamese vermicelli bowls and one will be a vegan option with our house made seitan, sponsored by Super Cao Nguyen! We'll also have guest pastry chef @anan_bakeshop in the house selling Vietnamese desserts! Menu coming soon. 🥮 AND @necessitymatcha will be joining as our beverage vendor. 🍵 ‼️ If you'd like to help us with food and supply costs, we've set up a gofundme (located in our bio) to help fund our pop up costs. This will go towards ingredients, supplies, togo ware, our volunteers family meal, etc. If anybody would like to sponsor this event, we'd love to talk! 🙏🏻UPDATE: Big thank you to @supercaonguyen for becoming our food sponsor for this pop up!!! It means SO much especially because I've been going there since I was a toddler, back when was the OG Cao Nguyen in the building (no longer there) across from the milk bottle building. Back-to-back Wine events means we are in our happy place, cooking up ways to celebrate food & people! Bringing many together and connecting in meaningful ways. Two days of tasting through some standout projects, taking the time to listen to stories, visit places and learn more about time, weather, soil and, and you guessed it, people who make wine! Thank you to the Incredible, the wonderful the very Beth! (Stealing that from @martipujolmas 😉) Beth Mosher @bgmoshi for bringing an abundance of Juice and knowledge @valkyrieselections took us on the faithful journey of the Crab Cioppino Dinner. Started with @larmandier.bernier Champagne & ended with @bodegasfernandodecastilla Sherry. We did the dance of Néboa Albariño, @azulygaranzabodegas rosé and @marinelayerwines Pinot noir, we had us a good ‘ole evening! The week only got better as we welcomed Mr. Noah Dorrance of Reeve Winery in Healdsburg, California @noahdorrance @reevewines -We had a lovely time pouring some of his delicious vintages as well as some from his bloodroot @bloodrootwines project and a very special pour, Remy saves the sea, a rosé wine that brought him and his daughter, Remy together, to make a wine that brightens any day & has an intent to aid ocean conservation @remysavesthesea - So many good memories, thank you @thirstwine and @provisionsok their teams and our wonderful team for helping us piece these fun events together @sedaliasokc - don’t forget to sign up for our newsletter, fun things coming your way 🦪
