// been featured on @archdigestindia before, but this one’s special as it was @sectorform ’s first retail space / store design project & I had the pleasure of working with some of the loveliest collaborators! 🐒🥂🌻🖤 Cord marks 10 years with a new concept store in Delhi - designed to evoke nostalgia while blending fashion, craft & story telling. Much thanks to @nehasingh2.7 & @pranavguglani02 , who came to me with a vision that was not just exciting, but also aligned with what I had in mind for their brand! Everything you see in the interior architecture - from the handmade flooring tiles to the furniture & lights was all custom designed & handcrafted especially for the space to bring out Cord’s core design philosophy of merging art, nostalgia and travel. I’ve poured a lot of love into this place & in return it’s facilitated so much of my growth as an artist. Our store was shaped through a shared way of looking at space and objects and how people move through both. // the very breezy yet cozy first floor lobby of Villa Fado - designed to conceptually mimic the essence of a nest 🪺🍃 with the repeated use of cane as seen on various surfaces. Filled with natural light, yet a soft shelter from the sun, with bird’s-eye views of the surrounding trees on both sides.
