Over the years, documenting the mundane through my camera and my sketches has become second nature to me. ‘Archive of Ordinary’ is a collection of those moments. Using inlay technique to mimic the delicate line quality of a 0.5mm pencil that I often use to sketch. These ceramic cubes serve as physical snapshots. A way of archiving life - the quiet gestures, the repetitive routines, and the small moments that fill the gaps in my day. On view at @sabhablr as a part of @bengaluruartweekend curated by @svasalife @usualsuspectsindia

I have a love-hate relationship with pre-orders. It’s great because it helps me sustain my practice, but it’s also extremely stressful since so much can go wrong, often due to things beyond my control. Yet, here I am, opening a few pre-orders for these box frames again! Ready to brave round two. Dimensions: 4.2 x 4.2 x 1.75” DM for details :)

Prints of Nerikomi imprints. Since there’s no way for me to preserve all the Nerikomi imprints on cloth (they get washed and reused), thought why not print them on paper instead. Over a period of time I’ve managed to collect images that I thought would look great as prints. I myself framed them and kept them around for a bit, and yes, I still really like them. If you also like them too and would like to get a print or two or more, drop me a message. only unframed prints (prints in the images are encased in a metal frame) Printed on archival paper Size 9 x 6.3”

January flew by so quickly. As usual I’ve been hibernating on the social media front. This is what the new year is looking like. I saw some beautiful exhibitions, fired all the box frames, met the most adorable kittus, ordered a big batch of clay, got new kibble vases in the making, celebrated our marriage with all our loved ones, turned a year older and danced to the best music, attended a very inspiring talk by Kate Malone, and so much more. Here I am now, thinking about where my practice is going to take me this year. Equal parts anxious and excited. Late (but happy) new year, you guys!

Ever since I created heads for the ‘Best of Foes’ sculptures, I can’t help but place them on every other piece at the studio. While shooting the last shop update, I had to document it. It’s all a bit comical and I love it!

-PRE ORDERS CLOSED- Huge thank you for the love on the frames yesterday! Means the world to a small practice like mine. I was a bit stubborn about selling them as a set and they found a home together. But I’ve had tons of requests for singles and pairs, so I’m opening for Pre-orders. Capping it at 15 pieces (DM to place an order) You can order for single, double, triplet, or set of 4 frames. Material: Ceramic Technique: Nerikomi Size approx 4.2x4.2”x1.75” Lead time 12 weeks The art in the frames are postcards from my travels and not for sale :) And again, thank you for supporting my practice!

I’ve used all kinds of frames, simple brown frames, black frames, metal frames, acrylic frames, wooden frames and I have tons of different art framed in my home and studio. But what if the frame also is a piece of art? A set of 4 box frames, all hand made in ceramic using Nerikomi. They have holes on top through which you can pass a thread or a metal wire to prop them up on a wall. I would love for them to go as a set :) DM for details
