2026 CRE Fellowship applications are open! Featured work by 2025 CRE Fellow, Kaitlin Santoro. What is the CRE Fellowship? Hosted by Master Printer Cindi Royce Ettinger, the CRE Fellowship is awarded each summer to an artist whose work demonstrates an uncommon grasp of the printmaking medium and an influential and energetic approach. Who should apply? Printmakers that have limited access to facilities, can demonstrate excellence in the field of printmaking and enjoy engaging with the print community at large are encouraged to apply. The candidate chosen to receive the CRE Fellowship will be granted 24 hour access to the Second State Press facility for the one month, two flat file drawers in which to store paper and supplies, a modest stipend and all critical feedback that membership in a communal print shop like Second State Press provides. Apply today using the link in our bio.
