We started @unsweetwine in 2019 because we wanted to create a zero sugar, natural wine with transparent labeling. We realized wine didn’t come with ingredient transparency. Sugar and additives could be used without being mentioned, and most people had no idea what was actually in the bottle. Even people living vegan didn’t always realize their wine wasn’t.
Not coming from the wine industry became our advantage. We could question things and focus on what’s inside the wine, not the vintage or the origin.
We launched our Cava at Systembolaget with Michaela Forni, then took Unsweet to the US. We landed major press and managed to get nationwide shipping across the country.
Proud of what we’ve built. Now the focus is expansion in Florida and Miami, which feels like a natural next step for Unsweet
