SEQUENCES - an evening of choreography and dance Sequences presents a diverse, curated selection of works by a variety of dance artists. Throughout the evening, the audience is guided through different dance styles, diving into the unique depth of seven different choreographies. Welcome to SCOPE OPEN HUB, the open networking event on April 19th from 1pm onwards at secret venue is central Helsinki. The venue will be informed via email to attendees in advance ☕️ Accessability: The venue is mostly accessible and icludes one regular sized toilet without any stairs. The space is cozy and has a lot of different seating areas. It is not a loud music hall. The venue can be accessed straight from the sidewalk. Before the door is a few stairs, a ramp can be installed. The doorway is 700mm. Also there is an extra door without any stairs at the other side of the venue. If you prefer to use that one please write it in the forms if possible so they can show where it is! SCOPE OPEN HUB is open for anyone working or interested in creative fields wanting to meet other creatives and make new connections. 👥 During the event you will • ⁠Meet new people from creative areas • ⁠Enjoy a Sunday brunch like atmosphere • ⁠Learn more about Scope • ⁠See some planned program content (surprises to be expected) At the event there is also a possibility to give a short pitch on a topic of your interest during the open mic. TRAPTAIDETEOS ARTIST SPOTLIGHT Louie Avuton on landelähtöinen rap-artisti ja pitkän linjan tuottaja, jonka teräväpäiset räpit ja tuore ote rap-tuotantoon luovat yhdessä soundin joka on yhtä persoonallinen kuin kieltämätön. Avuttoman vaikutteet hipovat rap-musiikin äärirajoja eikä hän kaihdakaan käyttää mausteita genren ulkopuolelta kuten industrialista ja ambientista. Artisti on kompromisoimaton ja rääväsuinen sanoittaja, jota on verrattu soundiltaan Earl Sweatshirt, JPEGMAFIA, sekä Versace Henrikiin. - Louie Avuton is a rap artist and producer from a humble backround, whose sharp rap and fresh take on producing come together to create a sound, that is as personal as it is undeniable. Avuton's inspirations break the barriers of rap and he's not afraid of using elements from outside of the genre, like industrial and ambient. TRAPTAIDETEOS ARTIST SPOTLIGHT Spilled Cereal 2/4 -kollektiivin jäsenet Alvar! ja Toke ovat uuden aallon suomiräpin soihdunkantajia. Parivaljakko on keikkaillut yhdessä jo vuodesta 2022, ja vuosien varrella rakentunut kemia välittyy vahvasti heidän yhteisissä esiintymisissään. Tämä yhteispeli on nähtävillä perjantaina lavalla Ondassa. Toke Vuodesta 2021 lähtien underground-räppikentällä aaltoja tehnyt Toke julkaisi debyyttialbuminsa ’Kauneus on katsojan silmässä’ viime vuoden lopussa. Toke tunnetaan smootheista sample-biiteistä, taiteellisesta tunteiden ilmaisusta ja aidoista, samaistuttavista lyriikoistaan. Lukuisia keikkoja kiertänyt Toke kaappaa yleisön mukaan omaan mielenmaisemaansa musiikin kautta. Alvar! Alun perin Oulusta kotoisin oleva ja nykyisin Helsingissä vaikuttava Alvar! on yksi suomalaisen jerkin pioneereista sekä kokeellisen rapin ja trapin omaleimainen tekijä. Alvar!:in musiikkia leimaa energinen ja nopeatempoinen ote, jossa yhdistyvät rohkea kokeellisuus ja vahva rytminen ilmaisu. — The members of Spilled Cereal Alvar! and Toke are torchbearers for the new wave of finnish rap. The pair has performed together since 2022 and the chemistry that they have built over years comes through clearly in their performance. Toke Toke has been making waves in the underground rap scene since 2021. His debut album “kauneus on katsojan silmässä” came out late last year. Toke is known for smooth sample-based beats, artistic expression and real relatable lyrics. Alvar! Alvar! is pioneer of Finnish jerk, and a distinctive creator of experimental rap and trap.
