Yesterday, about 15 minutes before the start of game we all realized we had forgotten about my older sons bball game. We jumped in the car to make it about a minute after start time. Turns out they were playing the undefeated team in the league who they lost to by 13 points at the beginning of the season. Cut to a nail biting fourth quarter. In the last 40 seconds they were up by four and then the other team scored a three pointer. With less than 10 seconds left the other team had possession and then my kid stole the ball. With 6 seconds left he held it for 5 and did a quick pass to win by one point. I swear it may as well have been the Super Bowl I’ve never been more nervous and excited. These are the moments friends.
Happy anniversary @georgerausch . 12 years! Both of us forgot it was our anniversary until about 3pm today. Probably because we just got back last night from the most epic ten days in Paris. First time we've been back since before we were engaged. This time was a little different... (see photo of us last week in front of Notre Dame vs. the same place 100 years ago, sans kids). There's no one I'd rather be accidentally matching in the @jardinduluxembourg_ with. Here's to all of the adventures yet to come. Je t'aime.

This week I officially became an adult when @georgerausch and I hosted the LA alumni event for my beloved high school @peddieschool . In attendance were alumni spanning 50+ years, great food (thank you again @charcuterie.la_ ) and fabulous conversation. Hosting an event for Peddie is something I’d always hoped I’d be able to do. It was a joy to give back to a school that gave so much to me. #alaviva
Last night I attended a benefit for @unitedhatzalahofisrael that I co-produced alongside @assiagrazioli and @stolperstefani hosted by @ilizas and missmayim. @henmazzig spoke, @katharinefoster sang the most beautiful rendition of Hallelujah and @cantorlisapeicott blessed us all. In the wake of the horrors of October 7, it has been a shining light to work with these amazing people and put my efforts towards a cause that makes a difference in the lives of all Israelis no matter the race or religion. Over 100 people showed up to show their support for Israel. It was one of the most magical nights I’ve had in recent memory. Thank you to everyone who came and showed their support. Am Yisrael Chai.
