Yesterday our Co-Founder @rachelspringate joined @schwabnetwork ’s Next Gen Investing with Alex Coffey and Jenny Horne to talk about why women’s health and women’s sports are some of the most compelling opportunities in today’s reset venture market. From the massive underfunding of women’s health to the explosive growth of women’s sports, Rachel shared how Muse Capital has been building conviction in these spaces for nearly a decade, long before they were “trends.” At Muse Capital, we believe:     •    You can’t have best-in-class women’s sports without best-in-class women’s health     •    Proprietary data in women’s health is one of the biggest advantages in the AI era Proud to see Rachel spotlight these founders, markets, and stories on @schwabnetwork . Listen to the full segment at the link in our bio! 💫 #MuseCapital #WomenInVC #WomensHealth #WomensSports #VentureCapital

Only 2% of venture capital is run by women. @assiagrazioli of Muse Capital says that has to change — especially now, when women’s sports franchises are scaling fast and the multiples are proving the model. Get in. Own it. The window won’t be open forever ‼️ #BusinessOfWomensSports #WomenInSports #SportsBusiness #WomenInBusiness

Women deserve tools built for their unique bodies and performance needs, not outdated one-size-fits-all solutions. Today, we’re thrilled to announce The Optima Program, the first scalable health and performance platform designed specifically for elite female athletes and sports executives. Until 1993, U.S. clinical trials weren’t required to include women. Women often account for only 35% of participants in sports science studies, and as little as 3% in studies look specifically at how the body works during exercise. Cortisol imbalances from intense training loads and inadequate recovery have measurable consequences for performance, injury risk, and long-term health. The gap between women’s health innovation and real-world application has never been wider, until now. This gap ends now. Partnering with 10 category-defining companies in women’s health to start, Optima delivers science-backed innovations directly into athletes’ hands: Hormone health & cortisol insights from @myelihealth Fertility planning & egg freezing access from @cofertility Advanced breast imaging technology from @besoundbreast Mental health & maternal wellness support from @mavidahealth Performance tampon technology engineered by women from @trysequel Women-focused supplementation & wellness from @hughandgrace and @sisterly_lab Wellness and immunity support from @beekeepers_naturals Doula and postpartum care from @joinmahmee Women’s longevity for women in mid-life from @midihealth Launching with @redbullitasailgp as part of @sailgp ’s Impact League, Optima is already expanding conversations with global women’s sports leagues and teams. The future of women’s sports health is here. Learn more at at the link in bio! P.s. read the substack on Optima by our Co-Founder @assiagrazioli at the link in bio as well! #OptimaProgram #WomenInSports #SportsInnovation #WomensHealth

Are celebrity investors good for sports teams? @assiagrazioli of Muse Capital argues that it only works if the celebrity is hands-on and truly cares about the team’s success. Full episode of Portfolio Players with Grazioli-Venier at the link in bio.

Celebrating this Women’s Day thinking back on an extraordinary weekend with my work wife @rachelspringate without whom none of my professional dreams could ever come true. Grateful these two moms took a break to reconnect. 🤍 What a setting for our annual @musecapital founders retreat. As anyone who knows us knows, Rachel and I are happiest on a mountain…so Aspen was perfect. We were there to witness something special: the third ever @thesnowleague event, live at Buttermilk. Omer Atesmen ( CEO and just one of the genuinely good ones ) has built something remarkable around him. The kind of leader people rally around. Alongside him, @shaunwhite and @milesvt as co-owners, and CFO John Poffenberger - a brilliant vision that is clearly just getting started. The attention to detail, the energy, the palpable sense of inevitability in every corner of that mountain - from investors to sponsors to employees, everyone feels what this league is becoming. Highlight? Skiing with @shaunwhite himself. Watching @maddie_mastro do her thing on that halfpipe. And @wyclefjean closing it all out …what a firey Fugees set!🎵 Next stop: Laax, Switzerland for the season finale. And beyond that… the world. The sky truly is the limit …especially when skiing joins the party. 🏔️⛷️ More to come from @musecapital . Stay tuned. #MuseOnTheMountain #MuseWorthy #WomensDay #snowleague 🤩 Special thank you for @monicaevidal for the hospitality and for getting the plans ready for next year 😜

Five years ago, @assiagrazioli and @rachelspringate did a deep dive into menopause. Women make up half the population — and every woman will eventually go through this life stage — so we asked a simple question: why was there no real healthcare infrastructure built for it? The need was massive. The care was fragmented. The outcomes were poor. So we built a thesis around the white space, mapped the ecosystem, and spoke to countless companies. None quite had it. What we kept coming back to was the same conclusion: the market needed a virtual, clinician-led care model purpose-built for menopause. Rachel shared this thesis widely. And in 2020, during her first year as a Kauffman Fellow, her incredible classmate @witneymck said: “I know someone building exactly this.” That someone was @joannastrober . From our very first meeting, it was obvious — Joanna is one of the rare ones. Vision, rigor, empathy, and the ability to build at scale. We were proud to write one of the earliest checks into @midihealth — even after being told by more than one older male LP that “menopause is niche.” Now, Midi surpassed a $1B valuation. But what matters more are the outcomes: 28% increase in breast cancer screening adherence 11% increase in colorectal cancer screening adherence Up to 13% reduction in total cost of care Meaningful reductions in A1c and LDL across patients This is what happens when you build healthcare around women instead of forcing women into systems that weren’t designed for them. With over 45 million women covered nationwide, Midi isn’t just building a company — they’re reshaping the standard of care. Proud to be on this journey with Joanna and the entire Midi team. Women’s health isn’t a trend. It’s one of the most important, overdue evolutions in healthcare. And this is only the beginning. Read the full article at the link in bio!
