Toronto, you’re invited.
Join us on May 20th for a casual evening to welcome a new wave of stewards into the community, culture, and conservation work that supports wild Atlantic salmon.
At the Upstream Mixer — An Atlantic Salmon Rendezvous — we’re bringing together seasoned anglers, conservationists, and those who are simply curious to learn more. Whether it’s your first cast or you’ve spent years on the river, this evening is about sharing knowledge, stories, and building a stronger community around salmon conservation.
The evening will feature an Atlantic Salmon Starter Station with essential gear, DIY resources, and beginner-friendly tips, along with regional resource tables where local experts will share maps, guides, and learning pathways.
You’ll also hear from Atlantic Salmon Federation research scientists Jason Daniels and Heather Perry, and experience a selection of films from the Scale of Change Film Tour.
Throughout the evening, connect with experienced anglers ready to share their knowledge, enjoy light bites and a cash bar, and take part in a small silent and live auction supporting Atlantic salmon conservation.
Every angler has a story — the first cast, the one that got away, the moment the river hooked them for good. This is where those stories come together.
Join @asfsalmon , @drift_outfitters , and @hooke.ca for an evening of connection, learning, and inspiration.
