Feels good to be back on the river! I am on the restigouche river at @restigoucheriverlodge for the next few days filming a new episode of wild fish / wild places with @katesherin , @sinclairtiedflies and @scottysherin in search of our first atlantic salmon of the year. The conditions are perfect and I feel it’s only a question of time before someone hooks up to a Restigouche River giant.

We have had a great start to the new season and have had the opportunity to fish with the new Trak series of rods from Loop Tackle and they perform excellently! For the price you probably can't get anything better. 🔥
Episode shot in the very south of Sweden - check!!! (well almost, that is). 💙🌅 It felt like walking into the Lord of the rings with woods straight out of the Shire, expecting to stumble across hobbits’ houses everywhere. Of course I didnt but still I just loved every second of it. However it’s a known fact that fishing is always going to be tough when there is a camera around and this was no exeption… But when fishing with the very greatest of people things have a way of working out.
