What an incredible night for the arts at Indian Springs High School! šŸŽØ šŸŽ¶ šŸŽ Our 2nd Annual Year-End VAPA Showcase at the ISHS Performing Arts Center was a huge success, bringing together student creativity from across our campus and community. This year’s showcase featured artwork from every ISHS Visual Art class, as well as inspiring work from our feeder schools - Curtis Middle School, Bing Wong Elementary, and H. Frank Dominguez Elementary School. Guests also enjoyed live music performances from our ISHS Music Production students and engaging ā€œBlack Boxā€ performances from our Theater Pathway students. The support from our community made the evening even more special. Congratulations to all of the students who shared their creativity, talent, and hard work to make this event unforgettable. #IndianSpringsHS #SBCUSD #VAPA #StudentArtists #CommunityPride

šŸŽ Like mother, like teacher. This Mother’s Day, SBCUSD is celebrating the families who are shaping futures together through education. From Maya Kim following in the footsteps of her mother and grandmother, to Angela and Steven Quinlan inspiring students and fellow educators, these families show that teaching is more than a profession — it’s a calling passed down through generations. šŸ’™šŸ“š Whether preparing classrooms together, mentoring one another or serving the same community they call home, these educators embody the heart of public education: love, service, relationships and inspiration. Their impact reaches far beyond the classroom, helping shape the next generation of leaders, learners and dreamers. Thank you to all the mothers and families across SBCUSD whose dedication continues to make a difference every day. 🌷✨ #MothersDay #SBCUSD #TeacherLegacy #FamilyOfEducators

We are proud to designate May 6, 2026, as National School Nurse Day. Established in 1972, this annual observance recognizes the vital role school nurses play in supporting the success and health of our students. Our school nurses are more than caregivers; they are highly trained registered nurses with specialized credentials in California. They are instrumental in promoting wellness, improving health outcomes, and serving as a crucial link between our families and schools. We extend our heartfelt gratitude and honor our district’s school nurses for their steadfast dedication to ensuring every student is healthy, supported, and ready to learn every single day. šŸ’™ #NationalSchoolNurseDay
