soooo saturday was kind of magic ◡̈ thank you to everyone who came out to our mother’s day market to support local, and packed our little studio full of so much love, conversation, snacks, flowers, gifts, and chaos in the best way possible! not going to lie, we were lowkey panicking all week thinking no one would show up (our rsvps were scary compared to our previous market) and we were pushing this event so hard to make sure it'd be worth it for our vendors. lo and behold, you guys rly pulled through for us, again 🥺 it was busy almost the entire day and every time we looked up there were people tucked into every corner of the studio eating, shopping, chatting, smelling candles, trying things on, hanging out. it made us so happy!! huge thank you to all of our vendors for trusting us and spending their saturday with us and @espressosocialclub , to @therootfoods for their generous donation of snacks, and to @sandymakesthings , our angel volunteer who wrapped all of your gifts with so much care ♡ and extra special shoutout to our neighbor, la esquina, who absolutely saved us after our food vendor had a last minute emergency and pulled up with the most insanely good pupusas 🫓 (they don't have ig but a must-try if you're in the area – amazing salvadorean restaurant and the owner lupita is a gem!) and if you just found us through the market, hi!! we’re duwie + sofia, and @saywhen.la is our cozy little workshop studio in west adams where we host classes, gatherings, pop-ups, and all kinds of creative things with really lovely people. come hang out sometime (or teach a workshop yourself) ✿ grateful for all the love and support ~ㅤꨄ︎
