Save Da Sea | Plant-Based Seafood

Have you tried the new @savedasea plant-based spicy “tuna” roll from @marketofchoice ? 🌱🐟🍣 This tasty new addition to the sushi station features vegan tuna made of shredded jackfruit mixed with creamy mayo and a touch of lemon.  The fish-free tuna comes from Save Da Sea, a woman-owned company hailing from Victoria, Canada, which is renowned for seafood. Save Da Sea aims to offer more sustainable alternatives made from plants. You can also find the jackfruit tuna salad and carrot-based smoked salmon from the vegan meats section at Market of Choice. The tuna roll makes a great snack on its own. To build out a full meal, I also picked up a veggie roll, seaweed salad, and cold noodles from the deli section. We teamed up with @tochafoods to bring a fresh, yuzu-inspired twist to Smoked “Salmon” Crostinis! Our carrot lox paired with their Tocha Yuzu is bright, flavourful, and perfect for hosting! Recipe: 1. Spread cream cheese on crostinis 2. Top with Save da Sea Plant-based Smoked Salmon 3. Add a drizzle of Tocha Yuzu 4. Garnish with dill Easy to put together, fun to serve, and even better to snack on! Happy new year!
