We’ve been working on a project that we are so excited to share. It’s here and ready! 🙌🏻🙌🏻 We are proud to announce our Founder’s Video. But, true to oomé fashion it’s a bit unconventional and branded just the way we like it! We hope you enjoy learning a little more about oomé 🤍🫶🏻🫰🏻.

MAPLE SOY TOFU BOWL 🥑🥭🤍 Eating plant based seriously does not have to be boring and this bowl is proof. This combo has been on repeat lately!! crispy maple soy tofu, fresh veggies, avocado, mango, and the best sweet + savoury sauce I used @thisisoome maple soy tofu for this and it’s honestly my favourite flavour. It’s high in plant based protein, and makes throwing together a balanced meal soooo easy🤍 INGREDIENTS: - oome maple soy tofu - Rice - Cucumber - Avocado - Mango - Radish - Green onion - Sesame seeds - Garlic - Ginger Sauce: - 1/4 cup soy sauce - 2 tbsp sweet chili sauce - 1 tbsp honey - 2 tbsp water - 1/2 tsp cornstarch INSTRUCTIONS: Start by chopping up all your veggies and prepping your bowl ingredients. Cube the tofu and lightly crisp it up in a pan with a little bit of oil. While that cooks, whisk together the soy sauce, sweet chili sauce, honey, water, and cornstarch. Pour the sauce into the pan and mix until it thickens and coats the tofu. Add in fresh garlic and ginger and let everything cook together for another minute or two. Build your bowl with rice, cucumber, crispy tofu, avocado, mango, and radish. Top with sesame seeds, green onion, and extra sauce over top!

POV: you accidentally leave the grocery store with oomé smoked tofu and Little Creek dressing… and suddenly you’re making the ultimate comfort salad 🥗✨ Crispy smoked tofu, cozy toppings, and a dressing that carries the whole bowl on its back. Healthy-ish but still feels like a hug. 🤝 Pro tip: air fry any left over sushi rice and add it in, it’s the most chewy crispy delicious explosion situation you’ll ever eat

From day one, @choicesmarket has been one of our OG BC retailers, supporting us from the very beginning 🫶 So naturally… we had to do a little shopping trip for the ultimate comfort food salad hack featuring oomé, of course 😉. And wait till you see the combo with @littlecreekdressing Co. 👀 recipe drops tomorrow!!!

Do you really believe her? lol Don’t worry… she’s sneaking bites in our facility kitchen, “quality checking” every batch, and ordering tofu at every restaurant she goes to. 😂😉

TOFU TACOS + MANGO SALSA 🌮🥭 If you’re stuck in a rut with tofu or think it’s “boring” this is your sign to try it like this. I used @thisisoome tofu (just smoked + habanero hunnie flavour) and it already brings so much depth, but the way you prep it makes ALL the difference. I just shredded it up, tossed it with olive oil + cumin, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and a little lime powder for brightness, then baked it at 400°F for about 15–20 minutes until it got crispy on the edges. And of course I had to load it up properly: homemade guac (avocado, onion, cilantro, salt + pepper) fresh mango salsa for that sweet contrast and a little cheese + lime ! It’s the perfect mix of crunchy, creamy, fresh, sweet, and spicy all in one bite. If you try it, let me know!! 🌮 #foodblogger #nutritionist #easyrecipes #tofu #tofurecipes

oomé is four and it feels like so much life has happened in such a short amount of time. Although this year has tested us more than ever, when I look back to those first few months and compare them to today, there is so much to be proud of and grateful for. And it’s all because you have shown up for us, in so many ways. Through DM’s, emails, sharing your recipes, sharing your feedback, purchasing our product at stores, showing up at events and so much more. All of it means more than you will ever know 🫶🏼🥹🎂. Taco night just got a glow-up 🌮🔥 Ditching the tortilla and using crispy nori + rice as the shell… then loading it up with air-fried oomé smoked tofu 😮‍🔥 It’s smokey, crispy, chewy, and low-key addictive. Like sushi met tacos and decided to be iconic. Would you try this? 👀
