Exactly two years have passed since we carried out our first mission to help orphaned children from Ukraine. This humanitarian relief flight brought 54 children to safety. When Russia declared war on Ukraine, Sally was asked to help rescue orphaned children from the war torn region and over the next few months she helped evacuate 240 children and mothers.

While travelling to Ukraine to support frontline clinics, Sally learned of orphaned children who had been left behind. Sally diverted her journey, rescued them, and brought them to safety. A series of phone calls followed, including a crucial one to @robrinder , helping secure flights to Britain, where today, those children are safe in Scotland. This rescue was made possible through Sally’s charity @saveachilduk , which delivers medical care to children in conflict zones.
