Bios:
Jennie Robinson Faber is a queer white settler community arts advocate and organizer, software developer, and leader in the IDM industry for over 15 years. She co-founded the video game arts nonprofits DMG Toronto and Gamma Space Collaborative Studio in 2012. In 2015, she joined the board of the Toronto Media Arts Centre, and became its operations director in 2017. She has served on a number of arts- and sector-related boards, with Ontario Creates, Museum of Contemporary Art Toronto, and the Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television, among others. She co-chaired the 2016 edition of IndieCade, presented at the Museum of the Moving Image (MoMI) in NYC.
Eileen Mary Holowka (they/she) is a queer and disabled white settler living on Treaty 1 territory in Winnipeg. They are a writer, game dev, and community organizer/advocate with a background in theatre, games, poetry, and patient advocacy. They have a PhD in communication studies from Concordia University and have published extensively within and outside of academia. They are a co-founder of both Weird Ghosts and Baby Ghosts with Jennie Robinson Faber, as well as a member of Gamma Space Collaborative Studio, where they work to make the games industry more sustainable and equitable.

My name is Setara Shahzad, and I am a beginner in game development with a strong
interest in learning and growing in the field. I have basic knowledge of programming and
web technologies, including Java, HTML, and CSS. I am excited to expand my skills
into game development and gain hands-on experience through this mentorship
program. And my favorite video game is Minecraft.

Bio:
Ian Sherrard is a game developer and technical lead at Sour Circuit Studios, contributing to the development of Shuffles ân Scuffles, where he blends his multidisciplinary background in digital media with systems and gameplay design. Ian studied Game Art & Design (Honors) at the Recording Arts Institute of Saskatoon, is currently studying Interactive Systems Design at the University of Saskatchewan, and serves as Production Manager for the USask Game Development Club. Some of his favourite games include Metroid, Zelda, Animal Crossing and Slay the Spire, reflecting an appreciation for exploration, elegant systems, and worlds that encourage creative problemâsolving.
