My iPhone just reminded me of this lovely project we worked on for a gorgeous young family a couple years ago which we haven’t had a chance to shoot yet so this pic will have to do! Instagram told me to add a song to the post so I’ve added what I think suits the room well which is ’Dreaming’ by Poly Styrene. The room transitions really well from day to night - we wanted it to feel lovely and bright in the day yet warm and cosy in the evenings, and I’d imagine this playing today with the sun shining through the windows much it like it was on this day ❤️

〰️ BACK IN STOCK! 〰️We’ve just uploaded new stock of our stripy tall pepper mills & salt and pepper sets to our website. Each mill is handmade in the UK using different natural wood samples to create 4 distinctive designs. The pepper mills are mega - 40cm tall & the sets are slightly taller this time round at 30cm. We were so excited to be asked by @jennikayne @jennikaynehome & her team to take part in their series about women around the globe. It’s taken ages to post a photo of ourselves on the grid - partly because we’ve not had a chance to have proper portraits taken & partly because someone posted on another article we had online that we look like ‘irrelevant teenagers’ (I’m turning 30 in a couple months so guess that was actually a compliment…😅). What better way to post a photo of the two of us than this one for such an exciting opportunity. Thank you so much to Jenni, Katharine and the whole team for including us in your Rip & Tan blog and sending us these incredibly chic/effortless clothes for this shoot for our first proper portrait shots. The last one shouldn’t technically be on here as it’s a vintage/one off light that we spotted in a @cubitts store a few years ago, but if anyone has seen similar we’d LOVE to hear from you! 💡💡💡💡

〰️ RUGS 〰️ By far our most requested category of interior items you wanted help sourcing so here’s a round up of some of our favourite rugs on the market at the moment: 1&2: A beautiful hand knotted wool rug we’d love to use in a bedroom @rugvista 3&4: A timeless thick braided jute rug which adds the most lovely texture to any living space @emilyshouselondon 5&6: A folk art inspired flatweave from the wonderful @pelican_house x @lucywilliamshome collection. Perfect starting point for a bedroom or study. 7&8: Great price point, great colours @zarahome . We’d pair with light blue walls. 9&10: You know it’s going to be superb if it’s designed by @michellersmithinteriors . Lovely option for a living room or bedroom @nordicknots 11&12: if you don’t already follow @oohlaoui , YOU SHOULD (she’s an interior designer @veronicabeard ). Spotted this rug on one of her vids which I believe is @luluandgeorgia for any US based followers 13&14: Obsessed with this handwoven kilim, love it for a nursery/kids room @naintrading 15&16: Another strong @naintrading find. The exact one we installed was a one off but love the colour palette of this one! 17&18: The only @ruggable_uk we’ve used to date & really impressed! We installed this in our clients TV/play room as they needed something super durable & washable with their 2 little boys. 19&20: The kind of rug I think we’d struggle to get a client to comit to but we abolsutry love. Picturing it in a utility room @naintrading We could honestly do a hundred parts to a rug series but here’s a start! Up next as requested…. TABLE LAMPS!
