Nobody talks about how hard it is to prioritise yourself when everyone needs a piece of you. But strength training is one of the most powerful things you can do for your mental health, your bones, your brain… so you can show up for your kids, their kids someday, and most importantly, yourself, for years to come 🌿 I built this program because I needed it myself. Realistic, achievable, built for real life. Using your own bodyweight or a pair of dumbbells, in the gym, your living room, or wherever the day takes you. My program is supported by the incredibly experienced PTs and physios at @hier.training - so whether you’re working around an injury, have specific training needs, or just figuring out where to start, we’ve got your back. Exciting news, especially for expats, pregnant women, and new moms 💪🏻 We’re so happy to welcome @sarahdoingthingz to the HIER family 🫶🏼 To celebrate, we’re launching a 699 kr/month HIER membership including 2x weekly Small Group Strength Training sessions for moms + their little ones. Sarah is a coach, expat, and single mom who left her corporate marketing career behind to follow her passion: Helping women, especially moms, reconnect with their strength in a time where they give so much of themselves to everyone else. Together with @zubaro , who is also a dad, we’re building a training and health community made by parents, for parents. A place where people get it. Training for all fitness levels. Support that fits real life. Coaches who understand that babies, bad sleep, busy schedules, and snacks on the floor are part of the process 😅 HIER is baby and kid friendly with toys, changing tables, cuddly teddies, and an extra coach available during group training to help with the little ones, so you can focus on your session. Jack Jack the gym dog is also available for emotional support cuddle breaks 🐶 1:1 personal training with Sarah and our other coaches is also available, including recovery, floating, and physiotherapy support, if you want a personalised plan built around your body, your goals, and your life. And yes, at our monthly community breakfast there will always be cake and croissants. Because balance. This International Women’s Day hits a little deeper this year. 🥹 About 15 years ago, I first clipped into a bike at SoulCycle when I was living in NYC. From that moment, a lil dream took hold in the back of my brain… that one day I want to teach this amazing fitness concept myself. Flash forward to last year at the age of 36, living on another continent, a single mum with a full-time corporate job, that dream finally became reality. To the women who show up to my class @satsdanmark : the postpartum mamas, the pregnant riders, the woman who rides with an amputated leg (my absolute hero), and every one of you walking through the door carrying whatever life has placed on your shoulders that day, whether you’re pushing through something heavy or celebrating something beautiful. I see you. You matter. You belong here. Every week I remind my class that group fitness only exists because we choose to show up together. The energy in that room, the strength, the resilience, and the community only happen because each of you decides to be there. Thank you for showing up for me, for each other, and most importantly for yourselves. And if anyone ever tells you your dreams are too late, too inconvenient, or unrealistic (as I’ve been told before) please let that be your signal. Rise anyway. Fight for it anyway. Turns out you can have periods in life where you feel the absolute loneliest but also the happiest at the same time 👱🏼‍♀️ December highlights of finding love and light in these moments, including: flowers from me to me. finding an epic new fitness community. becoming a CEO (turns out you can do that when you’re the only one in your company 👩🏼‍💻) piercing new holes in my body. alllllll the carbs. being a tourist in your own city. shameless selfies on the good days as reminders on the bad ones that good days always come back. & other lil things that made me smile. These past few months often had me feeling like a sad little butterfly with broken wings… wanting to fly, but not always able to find the strength. But thanks to the most amazing friends, a lot of epic food & baked goods, my Beatriders community, and my baby dino cheering me on - I think I am finally finding my wings again. So, so, soooo freaking grateful 🥹🦋💛
