✨❄️✨What a weekend!! Watching #mazzy step onto that stage and sing her first solo in @olglions production of #frozenjr is something @error1k and I will carry with us forever. There is something extraordinary about seeing your child do something brave, something vulnerable, and completely their own. She stood there, sang her heart out, and in that moment you could feel how much it meant to her. We are so proud of her and love her beyond words. ❄️🎭❄️So much gratitude to Mrs. Tartaro for the care, dedication, and heart she pours into these productions. You can feel it in every moment on stage. And to the entire cast and crew, what a gift you all created together. The countless hours you all put into this show really paid off. Dropping some favorite stills from @thesummeriturnedpretty Episode 309 These last three episodes (309–311) were especially inspiring for me. I got to collaborate with pilot director Jesse Peretz, who helped shape this beautiful world back in Season 1. Jesse is not only one of the coolest people I know, but his brilliance and sensitivity to these relationships made the finale arc so magical. This episode also marks the start of Belly’s journey to Paris and filming there was a dream come true. Every corner of the city is pure inspiration, and I was lucky to work with the most talented, caring crew imaginable. What really touched me was how my Parisian crew mirrored the spirit of my Wilmington family. I missed my team back in the US, but somehow the universe brought me their Parisian counterparts. 💛Here are some favorite stills from @thesummeriturnedpretty Episode 305. 🎥 Episode 305 will always be special to me because I had the honor of being the cinematographer for Jenny Han’s directorial debut, and because it gave us the chance to build a revised visual language for Conrad’s POV. ⭐️ It’s such a gift for a cinematographer to collaborate directly with the person who imagined this world from the start. Jenny’s insight and intuition guided every frame. We storyboarded the entire episode, which allowed us to shape the tone and rhythm of how Conrad sees and feels. ☀️ The now-iconic peach scene was one of my favorite (and a bit nail-biting) moments to shoot. After rescheduling it three times, everything aligned, the setting, the sunset, and the incredible focus of the cast and crew. We had only a short window, but everyone brought their absolute best, and the result was pure magic. 🙏🏽 Thank you, @jennyhan , for your trust and for leading with such clarity and heart. A great director inspires you to elevate your craft and that’s exactly what you did. 🥰 I will constantly relive the memories and visuals from 305, it was truly magic on screen and behind the scenes.
