Absolute rollercoaster of a peak and comp but thankfully got what we needed. Came into peak never feeling better, but unfortunately tweaked my knee and pec a few weeks out. Thanks to @andrewblackwood_@evopowerlifting we were able to get myself into a good position for comp. Comp day wasn’t much smoother, going 1/3 on squats and reinjuring my pec. Thanks to Andrew and @shane.mahony acting as both my handlers and therapists I was able to keep my head.

I was finally escaping poverty bench jail but I managed to injure my pec 3 weeks out, recover it for my peak week, and then injure it again during the taper 🤦♂️ Pushed through it to secure the European qualifying total, and put myself in a good position for deadlifts.

Thank the lord I’m a deadlift specialist 🙌 was able to pull for the remaining records I wanted and the qualifying total. Had more in the tank but wanted to play it responsible seen as how the day was going. Excited to see what we’ll build for Euros.
