@les_motsalabouche . After reading it, Sarah emailed me saying he wanted to translate it into French. Then
@youngfannycashfannybillionair (photographed with cheese) had agreed to publish it as the first work of fiction on the iconic leftist press
@editions_burn_aout and we talked and I instantly knew the book was in perfect hands: et voila. Sarahland is very much a book about stories opening new possibilities for identity and relationships, about girls and once-girls and non-girls speaking each other into existence. There's something very magical about a real non-girl Sarah across an ocean wanting to live inside Sarahland for a year, wanting to rewrite it in their own language and doing it. The book is beautiful, designed by Flo*Souad Benaddi who made incredible cover art for every single story. The last photo is of me and Fanny and Sarah outside Les Mots a la Bouche after the launch. Fanny arranged an incredible tour for me and Sarah, to Geneva where we read at

@rile.books and finally back to Paris where we had an incredible event at
@lafayetteanticipations . Was amazing to meet so many dykes and queers and leftist Jews and performers and scholars ETC. so surreal and incredible that a weird little stories I wrote would take me to legendary places far far away. And doing events with a live translator into French who remember every little weird thing you just said was *so glamorous* 🩷💚🩵🐆🪼🐬🦠🌊🪩🔮
