Come see a mix of new and old pieces for chamber ensembles, chamber ensembles with electronics, and just electronics!! This is our last Guildhall concert, and they've generously allowed us to use Milton Court, so we're gonna make the most of it! Monday 3rd July @ 7:30pm.
Should be a really nice gig (we'll have funky lights)!! Would be lovely to see lots of friends there.
This is up on YouTube now!! Follow the link in my bio! Work-in-Progress by Sam Greening and Sam Redway-Wells.
Lots of love to everyone involved ♥️. @shamuel6 for a brill and very meta text. @chloetodd_soprano and @cerchibaritone for wonderful singing. @georgiaarusselll@ruby.bowler and @jlaw_viola for wonderful playing. Also Izzy Doncaster, who was involved from the start but sadly couldn't perform with is due to covid.
Link in my bio if you want to give some recent pieces a listen. All recorded a couple of weeks ago at West Road Concert Hall.
The songs were a fairly big undertaking to record, so I'm really proud of the result (thanks to @tesskjackson for great conducting and @_corn_on_the_jacob for lovely singing). They're settings of a couple of interesting Edward Thomas poems, for countertenor and a small ensemble.
Spin is a piano trio I wrote last year, and I've finally managed to get recorded, so thanks to @samweinstein82@yaochih.kuo and @samruddjones .
