This year has been one long and exciting rollercoaster for my brothers in @zeropointfivemusic and I am proud and over the moon to be able to experience some of these adventures with them. From Luxembourg Song Contest to the absolute fewer dream that was the Trounwiessel show at Glacis last weekend, this year was a year of superlatives that required all of our many talents and interests and skills to work together. I‘m doing music things, from photos and videos through project and production management) for 15 years now and never ever had I experienced such a heartfelt and open and amazing community of musicians and creatives and friends ever before. It is not normal for a band in Luxembourg to include someone like me with all my quirks and cynical comments in their creative process. It is not normal to get so much space to do - and not do - photos or videos, depending on the mood of the shows. It is not normal to include and ask for an external‘s opinion on band things and it is definitely not normal to do that for 6 years straight. There are no words in existence to thank @kikomenichetti @gilles_saracini and @allreitzreserved for their trust and faith in me and my artistic direction. The truth is: Together, we did so many shows, projects and content, from the first live shows during Corona, where we brought people together after isolation, from our US tour up to their meteoric success during LSC this year and to the coronation event this weekend, where my visuals were played to 30.000 viewers on location and where they showed off how massive and striking their country music can really be. After such weeks, it is hard to get back into the narrowness of everyday life and I‘m reflecting a lot on how to process and not forget all these amazing moments, because there‘s a lot of them. A year like this, where I focussed on the grander scheme of things instead of the normal small show documentation, it is quite relieving to know that wherever my own art and talents will take me, there‘s always a great bunch of country motherf***rs, a gang of brothers, that make me feel like being a part of something bigger than myself. To the next adventures, we‘re not done yet! 😁
