Old but gold! Back in 2012, @slash & @officialmyleskennedy signed this beautiful picture, captured by our dear and talented local friend Patrick after the show in Luxembourg. The photo itself was taken in 2011 at the Zénith in Paris, on a very special night when we had the honor of opening for Slash and the Conspirators for the second time. In 2012, we shared the stage with them again—this time in Luxembourg, and also across two unforgettable dates in Brazil. Some memories never fade.

Sometimes life leaves signs… and you only understand them later. This was taken on September 29th, 2023 . The day I released my first solo record, “Demons in My Head”. Just me, standing next to a pillar with Lenny Kravitz on it… like a fan, like always. I had no idea that not so long after, I’d be preparing to share the stage with him. I’ve been to every one of his shows in Luxembourg over the years. Some of those nights were with my mother, who was a huge fan too, and who I miss every day. Life connects things in ways we can’t explain. Energy, timing, moments… nothing is random. See you in July.

Sobre o Guns N’ Roses em Salvador… Me emocionei com as imagens. Talvez até mais do que nos shows deles que vi aqui na Europa. Queria estar lá, vivendo tudo aquilo ao lado dos meus amigos. Mais do que um grande show, foi um momento importante pra cultura do estado. Ver um evento dessa dimensão acontecendo na cidade reforça o quanto a Bahia tem força, público e relevância no mapa do rock. E no palco… A banda entrega tudo: energia, presença e respeito pela própria história. Destaque pro Slash (sou suspeito pra falar) e pro ruivo louco, o mestre Axl Rose. Esse, aos 64 anos, fazendo shows de quase 3 horas, com uma entrega total. Claro, o Axl não é mais o mesmo! E nem precisa ser. Ele está lá. Corre, interage, apronta e, sobretudo, ainda canta e canta MUITO! As notas chegam, tem técnica. O timbre mudou, mas voz não é instrumento mecânico, é orgânico. É parte de quem somos e carrega em si os excessos, abusos, depressão e tudo mais que ELE viveu! É uma lenda viva, um dinossauro! Pra quem vive e acredita na música, noites assim não passam. Marcam. Tenho certeza que ontem ficou gravado em muitos corações e que uma semente foi plantada em uma nova geração. Assim como aquela mesma banda marcou um Lucas, em 1991, que os assistia pela TV, no Rock in Rio II, com os olhos brilhando… sem sequer saber ainda que aquilo mudaria sua vida pra sempre. Se hoje me orgulho de chamar o Slash de amigo, e de já ter aberto vários shows dele pelo mundo, é porque um dia esse sonho foi plantado. E eu nunca deixei de acreditar nele. Foi lindo !! Obrigado @gunsnroses e obrigado Salvador, por honrar a passagem desses monstros por nossa terra.

Hoje é um dia de memória. Mesmo que a data seja amanhã… sempre senti que isso também teve um sentido. Talvez pra que o foco nunca fosse a tristeza, mas a alegria que veio junto com a vida do seu neto. Já se passaram 4 anos… e a saudade continua presente, mas de outra forma. Mais leve, mais silenciosa, mais cheia de amor do que de dor. Obrigado por tudo que ficou em mim. Te amo, Mãe ! Lucas. :::::::::::::::: Today is a day of remembrance. Even if the date is tomorrow… I’ve always felt that this also had a meaning. Maybe so the focus would never be on the sadness, but on the joy that came with the birth of your grandson. It’s been 4 years now… and the longing is still there, just in a different way. Lighter, quieter, filled more with love than with pain. Thank you for everything that lives on in me. Love you, Mom!
