One of my favorite shots is of Reynisdrangar in 2023. That day my drone took a nosedive and I was left without it for the rest of the trip. Luckily, the view made up for it!

Seeing a beach disappear under nature's force is a humbling experience. Over 8 years and six visits, I've watched this black sand beach transform from a lonely stretch pounded by rain to a sun-drenched haven for tourists. It’s a reminder to appreciate the beauty nature offers and acknowledge its might. now it‘s gone, swept away, but nature takes and nature gives, so I‘ll eagerly wait for the comeback!
This photo was taken just before my back injury in June. I had imagined 2025 very differently — more creative, more exciting. Instead, I had to relearn how to walk properly and how to carry even the smallest weight again.
It still hurts. I still sleep terribly. Most days, my brain is focused on moving my body correctly, not on creating or planning new things. I wanted to hike a lot this year, to shoot and share far more photos. Instead, I found myself celebrating 20-minute walks all while having to work a lot more.
2025 was the first year that made me feel old. I’m not letting 2026 do the same. There are plans. There’s a timeline. There’s a goal — and it starts with posting more again, at least I'll try.
An incredibly spectacular day of hiking along an old log flume along rivers and forests and lakes concludes my Norway trip. Already missing the nature!
Been to Norways southernmost point, enjoying a cozy week off without great plans or great adventures.

The Atlantic coast is so wonderfully diverse and green, from costlines to swamps, lakes to rocky riverbeds, a great place to wind down.
