This one had been on the list for quite a while, but in reality this thing felt more exposed/intimidating than in the videos I’d seen. ⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ After punting on it a few times (with top tier spotting from @k_quinn8 ) familiarity came and the fun commenced. ⁣ ⁣ Art of Japan 6C⁣⁣

A stand-out bloc from the new set at @climbing_gym_sen The spinny nonsense took me a while to figure out and it was up to my lumbricals to do the rest. 🛠️ @nomura_shinichiro Tape - purple

At the start of the year, I set myself a goal of climbing a V8 outdoors. As of yesterday I managed to do my third V8 of the year on rock. Whilst I’m psyched to surpass my expectations, the fact there’s still so much to learn is the driving force. Grateful to have squeezed in what is likely the last trip of the season with some sharp Cornish crimps, four seasons in a day, Hendrix and driving 16hrs over a weekend just to fall off a piece of rock. A rare “indoor style” boulder in the French forest, felt good to take a break from the tech and get to try hard on this one. ⁣ ⁣ I dislike the labelling of boulders as soft unless it’s egregiously off so my conclusion is that I don’t care, I had fun, fun is nice. ⁣ ⁣ 🪨 Goriak | V8 / f7B⁣ ⁣ 📍 Fontainebleau | Cuvier Bellevue

Nicotine Alley - 7A It was nice to get this “local classic” done. It’s not the most inspiring boulder or line but fun to do nevertheless for the difficulty & physical demands than any spiritual pursuit. Thanks for the support on this @carbone.jake

River Monster 7A/V6 ⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ I’m not sure I’ve climbed on a more beautiful line than this rhyolite bloc. ⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ I saw this on @mollyts123 feed whilst on the train to the lakes and knew I had to try and squeeze in a visit to give it a go. ⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ 3 star movement, 3 star scenery and made me rediscover my love for this place. ⁣⁣⁣

Together with the Uk Climb Team on some prime gritstone for the 2025 Team Meet at Earl Crag. Great to get so many athletes together off the back of Climb World Tour to kick off the climbing season! 📍 Earl Crag - Craven, North Yorkshire. 🎥 @samdj_ 📸 @samm_pratt @lasportivagram #climb

After over 50 attempts at one move this boulder doesn’t get to live in my head rent-free ⁣ ⁣ @catalystclimbing@vauxwall

A clip from an upcoming @catalystclimbing episode where @captaincutloose blows my mind with some mindset tips ⁣ ⁣ Thanks to his advice I managed to bag this techy V7 at @yonder.climbing which felt nails on my first attempts. ⁣ ⁣ Coming soon ⏳ ⁣ ⁣ @davidkennedynorth_ 📷
