Just over a week since my remix of @wretla ’s footgohead came out.
What started as sketches on a flight to Japan slowly became a sound experiment in trying to incorporate a physical feeling into a song.
After noticing similarities between the transitions in the track and the feeling of your ears adjusting to cabin pressure on a plane, I started leaning further into the idea in the sound design.
Big thanks to @wretla_propaganda for such great source material to work from, and thanks to everyone who’s listened so far.
Any resemblance to temporary Eustachian tube dysfunction is purely coincidental.

picked up the new Middle James wax, shared some music in the car (BSTC / Jack Rosenzweig) and caught the Sydney crews getting bits together for tonight.
