i’ve spent so much time thinking about how my life needs to pan out, and the things i must do and how to do it effectively, just to realise later that i don’t even want these things to happen. haha
i can’t help but try and plan and coordinate, but it seems almost counterintuitive to do so?
too many times have i betrayed what i am for the sake of instant gratification. whether it’s in every day life, or in the pursuit of a life long dream.
in due time, for me, is the acceptance that anything that comes through force, or by betraying your true self, is either not yours or not worth having.
if something is meant to be, it will. if it’s not, let it go.
when i’m old and grey, thinking about what i should or shouldn’t have done, i think i’ll be happy looking back knowing i didn’t compromise these values chasing a life i didn’t actually want.
if you put the work in, and keep a steady pace, no matter the direction - what is yours will come, in due time :)
