I wrote a cookbook! I have to repeat that several times for it to even believe it. I wrote a cookbook?!?! I’ve spent the last year feverishly pouring every ounce of my love for cakes into this project. Fast forward to 9 months later, seeing over 7000 cakes in real life, I still can’t believe that the CAKE PICNIC cookbook is out for pre-orders and coming May 19, 2026 💛 CAKE PICNIC is for the love of cakes and friends. The first section of the book invites all of us to dream and create our own mini themed cake picnics in our living rooms and backyards. The heart of the book is 50 cake recipes, arranged into themed cake picnics. I’m so excited for everyone to play with the themes and bring these cakes to life – green cake picnic, floral cake picnic, salty sweet cake picnic, and more. GUYS! I MADE BUTTER! I always knew it was possible but never had a reason or urge to do it until this month’s @bucketlistbakeclub challenge. As I took my butter out and separated it from the buttermilk, I felt a child-like wonder and joy. I haven’t felt this happy in the kitchen in such a long time 🥺🥹 So simple and rewarding! I love this challenge so, so much. I’m so excited about my butter! I also took a sip of the buttermilk and it’s so delicious. Highly recommend joining this month’s @bucketlistbakeclub challenge! Be careful and keep an eye on it! I left mine unattended on the stand mixer and came back to buttermilk splattered everywhere 🫣
