Getting ready for Halloween. The most creative exciting time of year for a bendy person. I've been away so still have availability over the season and am manifesting my energies into the universe for some more beautiful gigs 👻👹❤️.
Also, I still love my crystal costume more than anything I've ever created, it sparkles with so many big Swarovskis, continually makes my creative heart happy ❤️
I wasn't able to focus on performing work for the last month, so haven't chased any halloween work. I'm now back, and i still have a lot of availability over halloween (and Xmas). It's my favourite time of year for performing, and I'd like/need some gigs ❤️ I need to get better at videoing at gigs, often it's impossible, and Halloween is just a few days each year, but here's a little video I've scraped together from some snippets that I do have, funtimes 👻

The silver cord in metaphysical studies and literature, refers to a life-giving linkage from the higher self down to the physical body. It also refers to an extended synthesis of this thread and a second (the consciousness thread, passing from the soul to the physical body) that connects the physical body to the etheric body, onwards to the astral body and finally to the mental body.

Sometimes I'm blown away by the beautiful venues I get to handstand in. Back in January I did some performances in this lovely building ❤️ video is the tiniest little snippet of video from when I set my canes up, often I don't have the ability to film the actual performance.
A little blurb about handstand canes, if you don't gel with the block bit of the canes they probably aren't the right size/shape... I swapped from years of using rectangle blocks to using circle blocks a few years ago because I got a three cane circle base and my ocd brain needed circle blocks for a circle base 😵💫 I struggled so so much but thought I just needed to adjust to round blocks and I'd get used to it. After too long of thinking it'll all get better soon then I realised it wasn't getting better... I changed the round block to a more rounded edges round block and that small change has made a mountain of difference to me, I quite like round blocks now, though I think I still prefer rectangles. Also I now use a triangle base but I'm sticking with the round blocks while thinking I might swap to rectangles again soon 😂.

December was beautifully busy handstanding and sparkling up and down the UK at many events. I was however awful at getting pics and video 🤦🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️ I'm mainly a solo artist at events and I like to focus on performing and doing a grand job instead of worrying about video'ing logistics, plus most of the events I perform at are posh ones and I can't film or take any pics anyway. I used to find loads of (or at least a few) clips uploaded by others to social media, but now I see a sea of cameras but no-one tags things I can find, and searching is harder because insta changed it a bit. Anyway, maybe I need to be more proactive myself in 2024 at filming bits in tech or backstage 😂.

I had a lovely fun week solo and duo bending, box squishing, and handstanding at events around the country.
To culminate a busy week I was at the #londonvetshow with my contortion/enterolgist box.
Just over a year ago I had a new contortion box constructed as my old one over the course of a decade had become rather scratched by costume crystals. This is the third contortion box I've had made in my career. I was meant to make it 1cm wider to accommodate my growing 🍑 but in the process I accidentally made it 2cm shorter in height...2cm might not seem alot but it feels ten times that and the box is a bit too short for my long spine. What this means is it i find it crazy squishy to get into. I have to seriously genuinely squish and wedge myself into it, and I get bruises on my upper spine from where there is so much pressure between me and the box. My previous box which was literally just 2cm different I had to act the whole time to make it look difficult (I was also skinnier then😂) , not this box. So yeah, if you think I'm just easily sitting there, I used to, but I don't anymore, it's a little bit more effort now, and I also genuinely love it because it's fun. And though I've had a few oh geez moments then I've never failed to squish into it ❤️.
Also a little fun fact, there's a name for box and space squishing, it's called enterology.
