Still processing the humbling and exhausting experience of teaching @pilchuckglassschool during session 7.
Super thankful to my amazing teaching assistants @ultralit.sb and @morgangilb , without whom it wouldn’t have been such an awesome, seamless class.
My exceptional students made more than 100 molds in just about 6 days using roughy 10 gallons of various @smoothon rubbers, silicones and alginates. Not to mention running about 8 kiln loads of various castings, plus about 20 hot blow molds. We did happen to be at a glass school after all.
We had every experience levels from newbies to OG’s and not a single ego in the group! Thank you all for being so open to learning and making space for each other. Thank you all for being to kind and thoughtful and hungry for knowledge. Thanks for bearing with me as I shook off my nerves. Having such gentle humans in the class made my job so much easier and truly memorable. The pictures show just a fraction of what everyone made.
