hi friends & community, 
i want to share that the duo many of you got to know me through is no longer active. over time, the dynamic became extremely emotionally unsafe for me, and the pressure I was experiencing led to a difficult turning point where the other member ultimately left (thankfully). that moment, though challenging, allowed me to reclaim my voice and prioritize my well-being. i’m deeply grateful for everyone who has supported the music and believed in what was created. your enthusiasm, kindness, and presence have carried me through so much, and i genuinely appreciate every single one of you. unapologetically moving forward, i’m choosing environments that honor respect, creativity, growth, & joy. i’m stepping into new projects that feel more aligned, empowering, and full of possibility — and I’m truly excited for what’s next. be on the look out for new collaborative projects and my solo debut. thank you for walking this journey with me, and if you haven’t already, follow @salenta.friends , @calycosa.music , & @thevoicesofcreation as these are my current projects, with more to come !

this tour run felt like i finally got to spread my wings and fly, and i’m thankful i got to soar alongside the beautiful song bird & bassist , @jjordansandd . ty to frederic at @futura_resistenza for everything. this has been such a beautiful journey. everyone go check out their catalogue ; truly an amazing label ! ty to frans , roman & team at @lesateliersclaus for a beautiful show in brussels. ty @le_guess_who & the @theaterkikker team, wooow! ty to natalie and stephen at @worldofechomusic , curation was thru the roof ! i met so many beautiful people on this tour , and had so many back to back wonderful experiences. i really could go on and on about this, hehe. ty @arthur_cjanssen & @earthmusicagency for making it all happen. i’m still flying high from this journey, feeling mighty blessed. praise allah, nothing like getting baptized in pure joy. thank u all. 🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍

today at @dublab from 4-8pm, @calycosa.music will be live scoring short films by black directors, including, two shorts by the wonderful @orange.mooon ! “This program presents silent extractions from the archive and Black memory accompanied by the improvisational cosmic jazz quartet Calycosa, highlighting experiments in temporality across form to generate new translations in celebration of Black experimental expression.“ dj sets by @colloboh (who will also accompany us for a few shorts) big thank you to @__pom____pom__ & @d3sign3rman for curating. tickets available at resident advisor. ✊🏿✊🏿✊🏿✊🏿✊🏿✊🏿 & later in the evening, for those that want deeper listening, tea & relaxation , i’ll be playing a solo piano set at @tea__at__shiloh , 7-11pm.
