I’m sure it was a weird ask from some random dude from california, but i’m very grateful for the work put into not only acting in this video, but also helping choreograph the fight itself. Lion 2026 Version is out now! I’ve been waiting on this for a while, but with the original version of Lion being so close to 40 million streams, it feels like the perfect time.
Some of you may know that i don’t own the original version, as it’s still owed by my former label, so this new version was a great way that i could reclaim my song whilst creating something entirely new and fresh for the people who really liked the original, as well as the people who connect more with the newer music. If you fit into either of those two categories, i greatly appreciate the saves and shares, it really helps a lot as we indie artists fight against the crazy state of the music industry as it exists today.
Lion was a bit of a transition song, as i was transitioning into the genre that i’ve carved out for myself today, so it’s really rewarding to bring it into this new era with me, as well as use it to herald in the next larger body of work. I’m incredibly grateful every day that i get to make music, and i hope that i can continue to make songs thay inspire you all in the ways you most need. Much much much love, thank you everyone ✨💃🏽🖤

Process vs result
I’m very amateur when it comes to filming videos, i’ve only really done it for a few years now occasionally, and usually for my own music project. But it’s been a super valuable skill to invest in for myself, because now i have the ability to film a music video for myself on a much larger scale than i would have been able to a couple years ago. And it doesn’t even require crazy expensive of fancy equipment, just a clear vision and the willingness to learn. Grab your phone, film some cool stuff, experiment around with ideas, make art.
