Lovely Sunday morning with @annebook_ playing for a bridal shower at Top of the Hay. There was a champagne bar with the best view of The White House (no, we couldn’t see the construction from our side, just the snipers 👀) and a “lips & lashes” bar! What a great idea is that for a bridal shower! And of course for the musical part, we pumped it up with lots of Taylor Swift songs for the “Brigerton” energy.

Wedding at the Meridian House. I think it must be our most performed venue in all of DC. Meridian is a special place- like a petit jardin somewhere in Paris, tucked away from the city’s noise and tourist’s paths.

A lovely day at The Inn at Little Washington. It was an intimate wedding with thirty guests. Over the last 15 years we have played here under every kind of weather condition, let it be storm, ice freezing cold, sweatering heat. And I think today was one of the most perfect days. We are so happy for the couple! 🥰🎻

The prep, the first look, the ceremony; every moment of this day was filled with purpose and beautifully woven together. The soft, romantic green that tied the day together, from the florals to the invitations, was inspired by the distinctive walls of the back room at the Andrew Mellon Auditorium. It was a perfect complement to her dress, bringing the entire aesthetic into harmony. For her bouquet, she asked @edgefloraleventdesigners for petite white florals, that might not be available, and they surprised her the morning of. She lit up when she saw Lily of the Valley nestled among the blooms, creating a lasting memory that will make that moment special forever. And in a beautiful secret, no one knew the invitation design and other components of the wedding were inspired by the intricate pattern of her wedding dress. From a romantic first look set against the grandeur of the Andrew Mellon Auditorium’s terrace to an emotional ceremony filled with love and just the right amount of laughter M&N’s day was unforgettable.
