An epic wedding weekend, one year ago. Maggie and Nicky worked with Alison to create six memorable events across four days to celebrate with their family and friends.
Event 1: Rehearsal Dinner
Guests gathered at the Georgetown waterfront before taking a water taxi to the Wharf, where a second-line band welcomed them. Music, cheers, and a walk to the Dockmaster building set the tone for a festive evening by the water.
Event 2: Bridal Luncheon
A thoughtful brunch at the Willard where Maggie celebrated her closest circle—filled with laughter, meaningful moments, and a few happy tears.
Event 3: Welcome Party
With a ‘Sunset at the Penthouse’ theme, 230 guests gathered at the Renwick Gallery. Candlelit stairs, live music from Veronica Swift, and a moody, elevated atmosphere made for an unforgettable evening.
Event 4: Ceremony and Reception
A New Orleans garden vision with touches of DC—lush greenery, baby’s breath, and thoughtful details layered throughout. From the ceremony to a packed dance floor, every moment felt intentional and beautifully executed.
Event 5: After Party
A custom Mardi Gras float led guests into a high-energy after party, complete with beads, bold moments, and dancing late into the night.
Event 6: Farewell Brunch
One final gathering at the Willard to celebrate, reflect, and say goodbye after a truly special weekend together.

One year ago today, they said “I do” at the Andrew Mellon Auditorium, surrounded by soft garden greenery and lush baby’s breath. From the sweetest procession of nieces and nephews down the aisle to Nicky’s cousin officiating, every moment felt deeply personal and intimate.
