I really enjoyed playing what I love for 90 min set, mixing noise, industrial, EBM, proper techno, hard techno and classic techno! VORTEX_006 - HIRT (Hiroaki Iizuka & Ryuji Takeuchi) We are proud to present the 6th edition of our VORTEX series, in the form of an exclusive set from the rare collaborative project; HIRT ( @iizuka.hiroaki & @ryujitakeuchi ). Both artists individually have been at the forefront of the Japanese Techno scene and beyond for many years, releasing on labels such as MORD, Monnom Black, Pure Hate and also self-releasing via their own imprints Local Sound Network and Zero Set. In 2022 Natural Selection held the privilege of releasing their debut release collectively as HIRT with their track ‘Force’, which gained global representation from artists such as Dave Clarke, Cressida & more. This was followed up with another exclusive track via our imprint entitled ‘Magnetic’ on NS006. This exclusive connection between ourselves and HIRT has continued and has led to the development of their 1st collaborative physical EP release, to be released later this year on Natural Selection; NS009 (swipe for teaser clip on slide 3). We are ecstatic to present their collaborative mix for our VORTEX series which features some of their own material both solo and collectively as HIRT and includes material from their upcoming Natural Selection release (swipe for teaser clip on slide 3).
