What started as a celebratory post has oddly turned into a parting ways post. Celebrated too soon but still so proud of everything I got to help make with a solid group of creatives. A SUPER DUPER LONG REEL Ok, I’ve been sitting on this reel for close to 8 months now and if I had it my way, I’d never put it out. This is a medley of my favorite moments from 23 years of work from editing to motion design to filming, photography, drone work, directing, and producing. I know it’s a long one, so if you make it to the end, I appreciate you. INAWORLDOFECHO.COM I met @inaworldofecho back in March during Daytona Supercross. I knew of his work because of the incredible job he does interviewing industry humans and bringing those rad, behind the scenes stories to the surface. To those born following the advent of the internet, the idea of a monthly skate video subscription delivered to your doorstep is about as foreign as the idea of a milk man leaving a bottle of 2% on the porch every day. And yet, with the same level of consistency - the crew that brought the legendary @411videomagazine to fruition accomplished just that. At the peak of “the golden era of skate videos” this crew was responsible for creating dozens of priceless full-length projects. In a time long before memory cards and WeTransfer, their platform was the end-all be-all source for cutting edge video content with segments and songs that continue to resonate with the generation of skaters who grew up checking their mailbox for monthly VHS tapes. Following the same footsteps, the founding members still gather to celebrate the every anniversary of 4/11 on the namesake date - with 2025 being no exception. To join the festivities, we braved Friday aftemoon rush hour on the 405 South in order to arrive at @skullcandy.studios just in time. SKULLCANDY SOUNDLAB We burnt the fuse from both ends to bring the SOUNDLAB to life. The lab was the dream of many and built by a village of incredible humans. A moderately controlled hurricane powered by the force of the Skullcandy family and many creative and talented friends. 1 year ago today I walked through the doors of the new @skullcandy Studios in Costa Mesa with the one goal of making rad shit with rad people. Never would I have expected the quanity and quality of rad shit I’d be able to help create. Forever grateful for @bgyeah in trusting me to help bring the fun back to the brand. The project that was almost shelved. With over 455,000 views and 473 comments on YouTube, Deadman Walking with @_justinmulford was almost killed by Fox. However, filmmaker, @ryanbmarcus , was able to save this project from extinction and it went onto have viral popularity within both the moto and skate industries.
