I learned a lot from my two years at juvenile, had many highs and lows, unfortunately missed out on the last couple comps I wanted to do due to injury.
In my final juvenile year, I finished top 10 worldwide overall out of 884 athletes. I also achieved world rank #2 in the Gi Lightweight division, top 20 in Middleweight, and ranked 13th in No-Gi, despite not being able to compete much in that category this year. That being said doesn’t mean I haven’t lost plenty either. (slide 2)
Regardless overall I’m quite happy with how the year went and super excited for what the next year brings with me in the adult division 👀
Lasty, wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone who’s been part of this journey — especially those who supported me whilst travelling in other countries, and my to my training partners and friends who push me daily! - @marcocanhajiujitsu for being an amazing coach, and to my parents for believing in me and supporting my lifestyle every step of the way.
On to the next chapter.
Takedown and pass from finals 🥇 I had been working this technique in training recently, so it’s great to have hit in competition against a tough opponent!

If you haven’t trained with Ryan Nee yet, you’re missing out. Ryan’s been a big part of the team for a while now, developing his game and his coaching alongside it. He brings a really clear, patient style to class – breaking things down in a way that actually makes sense, whether you’re brand new or already experienced.
No ego, no pressure – just good training, good energy, and a focus on getting better together.
Come join a class with Ryan this week and see for yourself 🤝
